Modern Apprenticeship Opportunities in Glasgow and Lanarkshire
INTRODUCTION
Modern Apprenticeships (MAs) is a National Training Programme which is aimed at providing a contribution to the training for those in employment. It is the Government’s view that MAs provide security of employment for the candidate whilst developing skills that are relevant within the workplace.

In addition, the policy for approval of MA candidate assignments for the frameworks in scope for SDS funding is detailed.
FUNDING ELIGIBILITY
Funding is prioritised towards certain groups, geographies and industries in line with Scottish Government objectives as outlined in “Skills for Scotland”.
