Our mission is and has always been to provide apprenticeship opportunities and work based qualifications by working with local employers for local learners.
We provide Modern Apprenticeship opportunities and SVQ qualifications at levels 2, 3 and up to level 4 in the following areas
- Business Administration
- Engineering Fabrication and Welding
- Engineering Maintenance electrical, electronic and mechanical disciplines
- Logistics Management Distribution and Warehousing
- Management
- Performing Manufacturing Operation
- Performing Engineering Operations
In many cases Skills Development Scotland and Local Authority funding is available covering either 50% of the costs or 100% of the costs where SDS funding is available.
Government incentives providing financial assistance in the form of wage subsidies and cash grants are available for many of the employers taking on new apprentices in the 16 to 18 age groups
ILA Scotland accounts are available to people living in Scotland, this funding can be used by learners for the SVQ, NVQ and Modern Apprenticeship qualifications.
